A new documentary series on CBC, Great Minds of Design features the work of designers and architects who take an environmental or sustainable approach to design, and its power to effect change in the world. Monday’s show (April 30 at 8 pm ET) features solar stained glass artist Sarah Hall, whose work with photovoltaics combines sustainable energy with art glass in her architectural designs. In addition to Hall’s work, upcoming episodes of Great Minds of Design will feature projects by industrial designers Patty Johnson and Helen Kerr, as well as architect Trevor McIvor. The six-part series, which began April 23,  airs Mondays at 8 pm  ET on CBC’s Documentary Channel.
